We are all fortunate to have a home where we eat our meals and have a comfortable bed to sleep in, thereby enabling us to have strength for the following day. However, we who live in Kensington also have another home, one that continues to give us a different kind of strength in our daily lives. Our first home gives us our gashmius, while our other home gives us our much-needed ruchnius.

Yes, our special “other home” is Khal Lev Someach – Alesk, which is located at the corner of East 2nd Street and Avenue F. This shul is truly our second home, where we get our ruchnius 365 days a year.
